Last week I took my parents to the Oxford Witney hotel to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
I have requested on my reservation a romantic set up and asked about champagne. On the day of the arrival I have received a call from the hotel to confirm that it will be ready and to give me options for the drinks. I have chosen champagne. If you are thinking about ordering it as well with your booking be ready to pay as it's not a cheap addition to your room. When we arrived we were were greeted by one of the staff members at the reception. She pointed out to me which room is the "special" one, gave us instructions for the room and a 20% off for food.
Firstly my parents room:

They have decorated the bed with flower petals. Which was very cute (however not as shown on their social media).
The cold champagne was waiting in the room. (Flowers bought by me)
The room was specious with a sofa and a chair which allowed us to sit together in the evening. My room was a single room but still had enough space for two. In the room there was a desk, a table and 2 chairs, a bed, and an open wardrobe.
In the room there was a kettle and set of teas. Perfect for a morning cup of tea.

In the evening we decided to go to the bar at the hotel. I as always ordered a pizza and I must say it was delicious (9/10). Parents also enjoyed their dishes.
In the evening I took a relaxing bath after a long day at work. It was perfect end to a long day. In the bathroom you could find a set of shower gel, shampoo and soap.

The hotel has a spa and recreation centre, so the next morning I have decided to go to the swimming pool. As it was Tuesday there was no one there, which was very nice because I could enjoy the swimming pool all to myself.

There is also a gym at the hotel, but I have not packed my gym suit so I have not seen it.
The SPA (so massages and other beauty treatments) are only available Thursday to Sunday, so if you're there any other day all you could use at the Leisure Centre are gym, swimming pool, sauna and a steam room.
The hotel is located next to a pretty busy road, so if you open the window you could hear the cars and there isn't anything else around to do other than the restaurant. It's a very good hotel if you're in the area for work for couple of days, and need a nice hotel with a comfy bed and leisure centre. However if you want to go and have a proper relaxing weekend away from the city and busy area, I don't think it is a place. But everyone is different and likes different things :)
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel. The prices are reasonable, offers a lot of extras (pool, restaurant, spa) and the staff are very friendly. Personal comment to the hotel. Do not post misleading posts on your social media. Looking at your page I saw a romantic setup looking like this. So I requested a "romantic set up".

Person on the phone said that they will prepare the room so I didn't ask anything, however when we arrived and I saw that it was only few petals on the bed I was disappointed. I wouldn't mind paying more if it meant nicer set up but no one even offered.
